So I mentioned a meetup earlier but what with school and everything, I couldn't have it as planned. However, I will be in London during the first weekend in April so I'd definitely be available for a meetup. I need suggestions though. I don't know London very well and I need to find a location that is central in London and will accommodate large groups of people.
So the date of the meetup will be either Friday the 3rd or Saturday the 4th of April.
So any suggestions?

I'm a student studying in London for the semester & there's a London meet up group (via meetup.com) that I am a part of. We had a meet up 25 of Feb and are trying to plan more regular ones. If you get in contact with Sophie and Kaie, the coordinators they could probably help you lots!

Hi Fizzy I sent an email to you earlier about the natural afro hair & sisterlocks meetup did you receive it? Was thinking it would be a nice idea to all meet together. What do you think? I have a few venues in mind. Please let me know if you are interested in doing this.
Thanks Cris for the mention.
Zayna, why would a NATURAL HAIR group want to meet up in restaurants? R U kidding me? Why not a public space like the library, museum lobby etc? London is hella expensive so anywhere free without the obligation to eat would be ideal.
what type of venue are you looking for?
Hey this is a great idea! Spitalfields market near Liverpool Street station is a cool place (I go there a lot). It has a cool market, with nice vintage and unique items and a wide range of places to eat all under the same roof. In the market you don't necessarily have to eat in a restaurant, you can buy a drink or some food from one of the food stalls and sit down in the communal eating areas. :-)
Hey Please let us know when the meet up will be, had a look at the link...not really feeling the event, so I'd much rather an event where I am talking about my natural hair, I plan on eating meat and wearing leather for a long time...
@Cris- Thank you for the info but I'd much rather do this independently as it is a Leave in the Kinks meet up. Also, I'll only be in Londom for a short time so the whole set up has to fit into that time frame.
@Sophie- Thank you for the email. I wrote back
@Anonymous- Is it written anywhere that people with NATURAL HAIR can't afford restaurants? And how exactly will we have a meet up, which involves talking, in a library, and wouldn't it worry you to see a large group of women idly standing around in the lobby of a museum? I like the restaurant idea thank you very much. I appreciate you offering a suggestion but I do not appreciate nor will I tolerate rudeness to other commenters. Please phrase your comments less aggressively in future.
@Anonymous- Most meet-ups tend to be held in restaurants or in pre-booked spaces (which means I'd have to pay for it) and I'm on a college student budget so that's out of the question. Restaurant it is.
@Stephanie- I absolutely love your idea and I'll have to check it out more. Thank you so much for the suggestion.
Spitalfields is a great idea! To Anonymous- good luck finding a public space in London that doesn't charge. Let me know
